Current and commencing students can register with Accessibility and Inclusion through the BondAbility platform. 
 

How to register with Accessibility and Inclusion

1. Register 

If you wish to disclose a medical condition or disability, need to apply for reasonable adjustment and support for your studies or want to explore support, please register with Accessibility and Inclusion using BondAbility.

BondAbility is the system that maintains medical information and maintains a list of approved reasonable adjustments in a learning access plan (LAP). 

2. Medical information 

You will need to upload your supporting medical information. Even if you are waiting for medical information, please submit your application and upload it when it is available. 

3. Meet with Accessibility and Inclusion 

Please remember you must book an appointment with Bond University's Accessibility and Inclusion Advisor to discuss support and Reasonable Adjustments. Current and commencing students are encouraged to meet with Accessibility and Inclusion to discuss support and reasonable adjustments even before medical information is available.

4. During your appointment

During your appointment, with Accessibility and Inclusion, you may be:

  • Issued a LAP outlining reasonable adjustments. This can be for your entire degree or a limited period. Limited period Learning Access Plans are issued for conditions where functioning fluctuates or the condition may be temporary in nature. 
  • Linked with suitable support services at Bond University. 
  • Provided information on available tools and resources. 
  • Supported to commence planning for placement, if this is a requirement for your course of study. 

5. LAP access and request for review  

If you need to request a review of your LAP or access or LAP please remember you need to log back onto BondAbility.
