The Student Affairs Coordinator supports the SASQ Manager in delivering high-quality services to law students. The role involves advising students on faculty programs, academic progression, and policy compliance while ensuring exceptional service. Responsibilities include analysing reports, recommending service improvements, and overseeing key academic transactions such as admissions, enrolment changes, appeals, and graduation processes.
Acting independently within set guidelines, the coordinator exercises judgment in referring complex cases and enhances student administration efficiency. This role is central to maintaining a professional, supportive, and customer-focused student experience.

About the person
The ideal applicant will have:
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong interpersonal and intercultural communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and liaise professionally across the University.
- Advanced IT literacy, including Microsoft Office and student systems.
- Problem-solving abilities, initiative, and sound judgment in applying policies.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in higher education, student services, or academic administration (desirable).
- Familiarity with university systems and postgraduate program support (desirable).
Salary details
The salary for the position commences at $80,787.14 per annum, plus 12% superannuation.
