Bond University hosted Channel 7’s Sunrise weatherman Sam Mac for a series of live crosses that showcased the campus and gave film and journalism students a taste of their future careers. The live crosses included chats with Vice Chancellor and President Tim Brailsford, Bond’s Australian swimmers Alex Graham and Laura Taylor, and Medicine students.
Australia’s fastest swimmers have taken part in a surprise swim meet at Bond University to prepare them for the uncertainty of the Tokyo Olympics. The Dolphins squad were told only on the morning of the event that they would be competing in the relay blitz, which was the brainchild of head coach Rohan Taylor.
Bond University reached a milestone of 30,000 graduates on February 5, three decades after the first student enrolled. Gold Coaster Jake Harrison took his place in Bond history when he crossed the stage with a Bachelor of Actuarial Science during a graduation ceremony for the Bond Business School.
