Chill Zone

Take some time out to chill, literally, with an ice cream. Pull up a bean bag, soak in the atmosphere, and check out the entertainment on the TV. Listen, learn and discuss with your friends.

Location - OLT Foyer (01C_3_71)

Competitions

Your chance to win a fabulous Frank Green water bottle or reusable coffee cup with lots of free coffee! Or you can donate the cost of your prize to something sustainable. Participate in some of our educational and exceptionally fun games that test your sustainability side. Are you a recycling guru or are you into β€˜wish-cycling’? Do you like a good scavenger hunt? How well do you know your Sustainable Development Goals? Take a break from study or work and get a team of three together for brain-boosting challenges.

Action speaks louder than words but not nearly as often.

Competitions

Waste Sort Competition

Recycling confusion is common and many of us resort to wishcycling when, if we’re not sure, we pop that bit of plastic in the yellow bin and hope it won’t end up in landfill. Brush up on your rubbish knowledge with a competition to find the champion Bond recycling team.

How to enter: Show up with your team of three on the spine outside the Chill Zone – only four teams so be quick!

When: 1.30pm, Wednesday 17 July

Prizes: Frank Green 475ml coffee cup with coffee vouchers for the team with the most accurate waste sorting.

Scavenger Hunt

Embark on an exhilarating adventure! Solve clues, uncover secrets, and explore hidden gems in our thrilling scavenger hunt. Compete with friends, discover surprises, and win fantastic prizes. Join the excitement and make memories!

How to enter: Show up with your team of three at the Quad information table

When: 1pm, Thursday 18 July.

Prizes: Frank Green 1L water bottles for the team with the most completed clues and the team with the most information on sustainability at Bond – keep your eyes open!

SDGs Concentration Game

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a set of 17 global objectives established by the United Nations to address various social, economic, and environmental challenges and promote sustainable development worldwide. Think you know the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)? Test your memory and learn more with a fun and relaxing SDG memory challenge, and see how well you can match the goals. Take a break, have some fun, and discover something new!

How to enter: Play the game in the Chill Zone and enter to win a Frank Green water bottle.

Location: OLT Foyer (01C_3_71)

It’s hard sometimes to know what you can do as just one person, to make a difference. We’ve put together some workshops where you can learn simple practical skills in areas that will lower your footprint and improve planetary health. Oh, and they’ll save you money too.
