Research interests

My research has a focus on uncovering insights to aid the prevention of the development of psychopathology in young people, from infancy to young adulthood. This has included studies on the development of symptoms, the role of caregivers and peers, and how to enhance the development of protective abilities like adaptive emotion regulation. Collaborators include the Family Interaction Program (Griffith University), a disruptive behavior research and service program. I am also a clinical psychology registrar and have an interest in researching, teaching, and training future psychologists and allied health professionals in evidence-based interventions to improve mental health outcomes for children and families.
