Research interests

As an academic since 2000 and an arbitrator since 2020, my research interests focus on international commercial arbitration and private international law. My current areas of teaching also include property law and tort law.

I worked with experts from Taiwan, Australia and Singapore in initiating a project and presenting a draft convention and submission to the United Nations, culminating in the Convention on International Settlement Agreements Resulting from Mediation. Apart from leading the bilingual drafting of the arbitration rules and other regulatory instruments for the CAA International Arbitration Centre, I was also involved in drafting a new arbitration legislation for Taiwan.

As a Council Member of the ICC Institute of World Business Law (as well as the Chair of the ICC Institute Prize Jury for 2025 and 2027), I aspire to contribute to the research, education, practice, and reform of international dispute resolution.
