It's do or die for the Bull Sharks against the Tigers.

The scenario is simple for the Bull Sharks as they head to Nissan Arena for Sunday’s clash with the Tigers.

Kaylin Van Gruenen
Kaylin Van Greunen will be a key against the Tigers

They must win to keep their chances of making the finals alive.

Last time they met:

Bull Sharks won 61 – 56.

The opponent:

Tigers are currently sitting at the bottom of the ladder with only two wins under the belt. However, they have a solid playing roster and line up, so they are not to be taken lightly.

Shuffling the magnets:

We haven’t had Mia Stower for the past two games due to an ongoing injury. We are hopeful to have her back at full strength for the last two rounds of regular competition.

Ones to look out for:

Kaylin van Greunen has had a solid and consistent season to date. Our defensive duo of Maddie Ryan and Lauren Aubrey continues to build, and I am looking forward to seeing how they can disrupt the Tigers’ shooting circle this weekend.

The Focus:

We need to be consistent over four quarters. These next games are so important, and the girls need to take control and execute great performances.

Final word:

This team is a truly a beautiful team to watch. They have the capability to take out this competition, but we must ensure two wins in the next two weeks and pray to the Netball Gods for favourable results in other matches to secure a place in the top 4.

Last time they met:

Bull Sharks lost 59-57

The opponent:

The Tigers are sitting undefeated at the top of the ladder. However, we played our best game of the season against them to only lose in the dying seconds of the game. We have confidence that we can turn the result in our favour this time around.

 Shuffling the magnets:

We have no changes to our line-up and are excited to finally have our entire team back on the court for the last few rounds.

Ones to look out for:

Charli Pearse had an outstanding game against the Tigers when we last met. She has been really consistent for us over the season.

The Focus:

We need to shut down their ability to score super shots. The Tigers are renowned for their ability to punish teams in the super shot period, so we will be looking to thwart their attempts this round.

Final word:

Again, we must win this game to keep our chances alive of making the finals.

With Kim Boland.
