Lighting Art - A Practical Workshop
Join us for this free workshop exploring the principles of lighting and illumination. (3 CPD points available).
The Abedian School of Architecture's inaugural CPD Series is designed to host industry experts to disseminate knowledge. These events promote current industry insights and practices, a forum where students and industry can come together, coupled with hands-on workshops or activities. The CPD series is organised in association with the Architecture Student Association (ASA), the School's active student body.
The events are free and open to all members of the public.

IES ANZ x Bond University x ERCO x Luxson Illumination are proud to host Lighting Art: A Practical Workshop.
Join us at Bond's Abedian School of Architecture for this free practical workshop. ERCO Oceania Culture Cluster Manager Yvette Linton-Smith will present a workshop supported by the Illuminating Engineering Society of Australia and New Zealand (IES ANZ) and local ERCO Channel Partner, Luxson Illumination.
Along with an introduction to the principles of Lighting Art, there will be four hands-on stations where you will explore the principles of:
- Light and Colour Perception
- Brightness Ratios
- Wallwashing
- Accenting
You will have the opportunity to play with luminaires from the market leader in gallery lighting and learn about projects in the area where you can see the principles in practice.
Refreshments will be provided. This workshop is eligible for THREE formal CPD points.
