A career in business data analytics opens doors for almost every industry imaginable. More businesses today require business analysts, who not only interpret data, but know how to apply data-based modelling to real-life scenarios, in a way that will impact behaviour, and improve business decision-making. These industries include health, sport, climatology, marketing, economics, management, finance, and many more.

Outcomes

Business analyst

The projected job growth over the next five years for business analysts, is 29.6 per cent. This makes the profession in high demand across various industries. A career as a business analyst, will typically involve examining the operations, structure, and policies of an organisation, and recommendations for appropriate solutions. This will enable an organisation to achieve its goals.

Data scientist

A data scientist is responsible for designing and implementing data-based collections, models, and creating algorithms and predictive outcomes. Their role encompasses developing tools, automation systems and data frameworks, to frame and solve complex problems.

Statistical consultant

A statistical analyst uses advanced mathematical techniques to analyse a set of data and draw conclusions. This type of role generally consists of analysing data using a variety of tools, algorithms, and models, and developing models. You will also be required to interpret data analysis, and produce results and reports for a variety of audiences.
