About this program

The Master Finance (Professional) is a quantitatively rigorous program that integrates innovative subjects that highlight Bond’s excellence in experiential and case-based teaching. The professional program follows the same structure as the Master of Finance program with an additional 20-week Professional component. The classes combine theoretical knowledge in Finance with practical insights delivered through case studies and guest speakers. Team building is encouraged through group projects and communication skills are enhanced through class presentations. The Master of Finance (Professional) program’s small class sizes allow for personalised attention and unparalleled access to Bloomberg terminals and our two trading rooms. The program equips students to think critically, communicate professionally, work collaboratively, make ethical and responsible business decisions, and work effectively in a global business context characterised by change and uncertainty.

Hear from our Bondies

  • "As a student who has studied at other universities both here in Australia and overseas – I am particularly enjoying Bond’s small classes, engaging lecturers and assignments that offer practicality within the industry. Bond also helped me arrange an internship as a Financial Analyst at a fund manager with some $5 billion in funds under management. I have weekly contact with asset management firms from around the world and feel privileged to be at the table, contributing to these meetings."

Patrick Campbell - Master of Finance alumnus
  • Our classes are unique for more than our intimate class sizes and world-class trading room facilities. Our finance subjects are filled with real world experiences including business cases, role plays, simulations and the development of wealth management plans, trading strategies, valuation models and investment portfolios. You will gain hands-on experience applying both theory and skills to a stream of interesting business problems and that will give you an edge in a very competitive job market.
