Strategic decision-making within a projectised organisation is driven by understanding stakeholder objectives, fostering transparent communication, and evaluating risk appetite. This subject explores effective stakeholder management from the initiation phase through to the closure phase, ensuring alignment with project goals and organisational strategies. Key topics include stakeholder analysis, SWOT analysis, engagement strategies, value delivery, benefits realisation, intelligent disobedience, customer satisfaction, corporate social responsibility (CSR). This subject emphasises the importance of aligning stakeholder expectations with project objectives to deliver sustainable and successful project outcomes.

- Practice knowledge needed for effective project stakeholder management on an authentic case study
- Produce a stakeholder engagement assessment matrix and use it to develop a means for managing performance
- Demonstrate an ability to prepare a lessons learned report as a basis for strategic decision-making
- Apply and implement effective stakeholder management practices to identify, address, and resolve stakeholder-related issues throughout the project lifecycle.
