Celebrating women in STEM

Women at Bond University are continuously striving towards meaningful advancements in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). As our University observes the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, we acknowledge the critical role of women in STEM and the need to celebrate diverse contributions. With women comprising just 15 per cent of all people working in STEM jobs in Australia, Bondies in STEM fields are proud to drive positive change and inspire the next generation. Learning about their traditions and family stories inspired Indigenous Student Success and Wellness Officer Teresa Blair to capture a glimpse of their cultural heritage. Through letters to their ancestors, traditional dress, body art and dance, our students have shared with us a look into their legacies.
